In China, glasses are widely used, especially the glasses for short-sightedness, a pair of comfortable glasses is very important to the health of eyes. The cleaning and maintenance of glasses are essential, if you do cleaning job well, the glasses can be longevous and healthy to your eyes. In some extent, the glasses are eyes’ umbrella.
 
There are three kinds of material for glasses: crystal, glass and resin. Though the materials are different, the basic way to cleaning and maintenance is same. There some cautions need to be remembered.
 
First, we should put the glasses in spectacle case after taking them off, don’t leave them carelessly, or they will be damaged. Second, we should often check them for clarity, if the surface of glasses is foggy; we can’t see the world clearly, this situation may cause blurred version. We could use special glasses cloth to wipe them outside and in softly, a little of water is needed now. When there’s oil in the surface of eyeglasses or they are very dirty, we could use a little of washing agent what is very effective to wipe them. Third, when you put them on the table temporarily, you must make sure the convexity is up so that it can reduce abrasion. You should be careful and fold from the left leg when you fold the legs of glasses, because the architecture design of the spectacles frame is from left to right. Fourth, though the eyeglasses are not easily broken, we should avoid dropping the glasses on the floor or ground. When you are off them for a long time, don’t put them in humid environment. As long as we wear and care them carefully, we can use them for a long time and keep eyes comfortable.
